Planning a new patio in Hook? At Camberley Drives & Patios, patios and garden landscaping sit right alongside driveways as our core work. We design and build handsome, hard-wearing patios across Hook and the surrounding Hart villages in Hampshire — from easy-care porcelain to richly characterful natural stone, and full garden transformations. Whether you want an inviting space for outdoor dining, a low-fuss terrace or a complete makeover of your garden, we’ll create somewhere you’ll love to use. With over 20 years’ experience, full insurance and a guarantee on every job, you’re in safe hands.
Turning gardens into spaces you’ll actually live in.
A thoughtfully designed patio reshapes how you use your garden, creating a true outdoor room for meals, downtime and time with family and friends. We’ve been designing and laying patios for homeowners around Hook, Newnham and the wider RG27 area for over 20 years, working in everything from sleek modern porcelain to timeless Indian sandstone. Whatever the shape, size or style of your garden, we’ll help you draw the most from it.
Since we look after the whole project, you deal with just one team throughout. We take on the design, the groundwork and levelling, the paving and all the finishing touches — steps, edging, walls, drainage and planting — so your new patio sits comfortably within the garden around it. Properly prepared and expertly laid, it will stay level, look its best and be ready to enjoy for many years.
We start from how you want to use the space, then design a patio that works for your garden, your home and your budget. From choosing the material and colour to settling the layout and the details, we'll help you decide with confidence before work starts.
Porcelain, sandstone, limestone, granite, slate or concrete — we install them all, from every leading UK brand. So you can choose exactly the look you want, with our guidance on what suits your garden and the upkeep involved.
There's far more to us than laying slabs. We also handle groundwork, steps, walls, edging, drainage, turfing, planting and lighting — so your patio is part of a polished, finished garden rather than an island on its own.
A patio lives or dies by its foundation, so we take real care over the base — yours stays firm and true for years. Every project is fully insured and guaranteed, with a clear fixed price and no hidden costs.
We install patios in every popular material, sourced from all the leading UK manufacturers — so you pick the finish you love instead of whatever happens to be in stock. We'll help you weigh up appearance, durability, maintenance and budget, then lay your chosen paving to a meticulous standard. Every material comes in a wide choice of colours, finishes and formats, and can be combined with matching steps, edging and coping to pull the whole design together. Popular materials and ranges we work with include:
Because we tackle the whole job, a single trusted team sees your project through from first idea to finished garden. As well as your patio, we can take care of:
We design and build patios throughout Hook and the neighbouring villages and towns. Wherever you are in the RG27 area and across north-east Hampshire, we’d be glad to help.
Every patio is priced on its own merits, since the cost depends on the size, your choice of material, the groundwork needed and any extras like steps or walls. As a rough guide, patios tend to work out around £100–£200 per square metre installed, with most projects between £2,000 and £8,000 overall. After a free, no-obligation visit we'll give you a clear, fixed price with nothing hidden.
Both make beautiful patios — it really comes down to the look and the upkeep you'd prefer. Porcelain is remarkably low-maintenance, frost- and stain-resistant and holds its colour, with a sleek, modern feel. Natural stone such as sandstone or limestone brings more natural variation and a warmer, traditional character, and appreciates an occasional seal. We'll gladly show you samples of both and help you choose.
Most patios take from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the size, the material and any extra landscaping like steps, walls or drainage. We'll give you a realistic timescale with your quote and keep you informed as we go.
In most cases, no — but there's an important rule to be aware of. If your new driveway covers more than five square metres of your front garden and uses a non-permeable surface (one that doesn't let water drain through) without directing rainwater to a permeable area, you may need planning permission. Permeable surfaces such as resin-bound, permeable block paving or gravel usually don't require it. We'll always advise you on drainage and make sure your driveway meets the requirements.
It depends on the material. Porcelain typically needs little more than an occasional wash to keep looking great. Natural stone is also easy to care for but benefits from sealing and a periodic clean to keep it at its best and ward off stains. Whatever you choose, we'll show you how to look after it.
Yes — we do the lot. Beyond patios, we design and build complete gardens, covering groundwork, steps, walls, drainage, turfing, planting and lighting. If you'd like to reimagine the whole space rather than just lay paving, we're the team to call.

Very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend Robin and his team. I have no through access to my back garden via an entry only through the house. This was not a problem for the team and the work was done to a very high standard. The team were friendly, punctual, professional, offering advice at all stages of the garden renovation and completed within the timeframe. The end result is superb and i now have a lovely patio and a garden i can be proud of. My expectations were high and they were certainly met. I will be calling them back for my driveway. Thank you Robin and team 👍
